NTW TEAM Opportunity: August 012 are looking for an Assistant Director

Mae National Theatre Wales TEAM yn cyflwyno’r cyfle cyffrous i gyfarwyddwr newydd i gynorthwyo Mathilde Lopez ar gynhyrchiad diweddaraf August 012: Yuri gan Fabrice Melquiot, wedi’i haddasu i’r Gymraeg a’r Saesneg am y tro cyntaf gan Dafydd James . Ffars swreal yw Yuri sy’n mynd ar ôl anffrwythlondeb, mabwysiadu, yr abswrdiaeth o fagu plant, hiliaeth a mewnfudiad.

 

Fe fydd y cyfle yma yn rhoi’r siawns i chi:

 

Weithio gyda chyfarwyddwraig brofiadol yng Nghymru.

I brofi’r realiti o weithio ar gynhyrchiad proffesiynol.

Derbyn mentora a chefnogaeth drwy’r broses gan Mathilde Lopez a’r Cynhyrchwraig Cyswllt, Sarah Jane Leigh.

Rhannu eich syniadau creadigol am y cynhyrchiad proffesiynol.

Emerging Director opportunity with August 012 and NTW TEAM

 

National Theatre Wales TEAM are providing an exciting opportunity for an emerging director to assist Mathilde Lopez on August 012’s production for 2015: Yuri by Fabrice Melquiot, adapted by Dafydd James into English and Welsh for the first time. Yuri is a surreal farce about infertility, adoption, the absurdities of raising children, racism and immigration.

 

This opportunity will give you the chance to:

 

Work with an experienced, award-winning Director working in Wales.

To experience the realities of working on a professional production.

Receive mentoring and support throughout the process from Mathilde Lopez and Associate Producer, Sarah Jane Leigh.

Have a strong creative input into a professional production.

 

In return, August 012 are looking for an assistant director who is:

 

Energetic,

Creative,

Interested in international contemporary plays,

Committed,

Reliable,

Fluent in Welsh (Desirable). 

 

You will need to commit for the equivalent of 2 days a week from the 7th September to the 17th October 2015 and in return you will receive a  bursary of £104 per week.

Sorry everyone just to avoid confusion, the fluent in Welsh point is a desirable and is not essential. Apologies that wasn't clearer. Looking forward to see who applies!
