Wales Millennium Centre and National Theatre Wales are on the hunt for a cast of 6,000
volunteers. Everyone is welcome, from choristers and magicians to brass bands, from heroic
firemen to officious bureaucrats, from Spitfire Pilots to Morris Minor drivers, from dinner ladies to
bald men, children to grandparents, aerialists, climbers, enthusiasts and dancers and a performing
mouse.
Whoever you are, whatever you do, there's a role for you.
This September, Cardiff will celebrate the centenary of one of its most well known sons, Roald
Dahl, with an extraordinary weekend of magic and mayhem. The whole city will be humming with
whispers of Dahl; on street corners, on rooftops, in markets and cafés, on lampposts and even on
your mobile phone.
Dahl’s imagination has touched the most extraordinary number of people around the world. For
generations, he has been part of our bed times, our childhoods, and the development of our
imaginations. Now you can come and be part of his centenary: come and help us transform Cardiff
into a place that will unlock the child in everyone and create a city of wonder and surprise.

Hi Heledd, thanks for getting in touch. Our participation call out was in April but do keep an eye on the community for any future opportunities.
