National Theatre Wales TEAM is an open invitation - a chance for you to join in, contribute, and help us generate some magic. Whether you are new to the arts or a veteran culture vulture, TEAM welcomes you and your curiosity, enthusiasm and imagination.

TEAM is a network that encompasses a whole range of individuals, from arts professionals, dedicated enthusiasts and those curious ones dipping their toe in for the first time.

Once you are part of this growing network, you get the chance to take part in our creative activities, get special ticket offers for our shows, and opportunities to assist on our productions.

If you’ve got an idea that you want to share, a creative project that needs an outside eye to glance over it, or you are looking for some guidance from a supportive arts community you have come to the right place.

TEAM can offer you training to help you lead a project with confidence, set up a community group or craft a performance piece.

National Theatre Wales TEAM is inviting TEAM members (existing and prospective!) to join us for our pre-show shindig, TEAM Social on Thursday 14th September, 18:00 in Port Talbot!

This is a party to celebrate all the good stuff going on, the people and places we love, and to mark the start of our production run of the epic “We’re Still Here” by National Theatre Wales & Common Wealth Theatre.

It’ll be an exclusive opportunity for you to see the show before everyone else, and what’s more, it’s FREE.

REHEARSALS - We're Still Here

 

Our next show is a co-production with Common Wealth Theatre called We’re Still Here, set in the Byass Works in Port Talbot.http://nationaltheatrewales.org/were-still-here

 

While the show is shaping up, we’re offering the chance for TEAM members to come and sit in on rehearsals (dates below), so email us at team@nationaltheatrewales.org if you’re out and about in Port Talbot town and we’ll send you details of locations.

 

Week 1 - Friday 18th Aug - 2pm - 4.30pm

Week 2 - Friday 25th Aug - 2pm - 4.30pm

Week 3 - Friday 1st Sept - 2pm - 4.30pm

Future Leaders Connect

Are you aged 18-35 and living in Wales? Do you care about tackling the major issues of the world today? Do you see yourself as a future leader?

The British Council want your application for Future Leaders Connect. The initiative will bring together 50 young people from around the globe where they’ll have the opportunity to discuss the most significant global issues, develop advanced leadership and policy skills, learn from global policy experts and become part of an international network of emerging policy leaders.

For more details about the initiative check out the British Council’s webpage, and submit your application by the deadline on Thursday 20 July.

Join National Theatre Wales TEAM as part of the Cardiff Free Fringe, Monday the 17th of July 12:30 - 17:00 at The Other Room, Cardiff!

The day will include advice and a Q&A session from NTW staff, including their Communications Coordinator Rhian Lewis who will be offering helpful tips on how to market your upcoming shows, and Head of Creative Development Simon Coates who will give emerging artists an introduction to Creative Producing.

The session will conclude with a TEAM Workout run by Lisa Turner, where you can work with other creatives to help shape your future projects. Come with your ideas and questions and let’s work them out together.
