Opportunity to create a Fun Palace at NTW HQ
Do you want to turn our Cardiff shopfront into your community Fun Palace on Sunday 8th October?
If you’ve got the ideas, we can give you the space (See images below). We’ll also provide you with TEAM support, equipment and a budget of £100 to help you make it happen.

Three Doors Up volunteers call out
Three Doors Up is situated in the Queens Arcade shopping centre - opposite the Post Office.
From August to October 2017 it will act as a creative hub in Cardiff city centre. It incorporates comfortable seating and workshop spaces. It will be a creative space to drop in and relax. A place to host workshops, music events, readings, classes. A platform for artists to sell.
Want to get involved?
We are looking for:
- Assistance to be open to the public as many days as possible.
- People to be in the unit to look after the artworks and talk to the public.
- Artist makers seeking a place to display their work and creatively inhabit the space.

Tasks: To work in pairs to keep gallery open, talk to public about the art project, look after the exhibitions.
Skills: Interest in art and community engagement. Ability to engage with the public. Good communication. To work as part of an enthusiastic team.
Benefits: You get valuable experience of running an art space within a busy city centre location.

Opportunity for one to one advice on art portfolio/artwork/community engagement.
C.V. reference, written reference for taking part.
Open times at present are Wednesday to Saturday 12.30 to 5.30. Cover required will be 2.5hr shifts from 12.30 to 3 or 3 to 5.30. We aim to be flexible to suit needs. The location is fully wheelchair accessible. We aim to build a list of volunteers and then will invite you to initially meet with us, then later for an induction and basic training.
