Grants and other financial awards for Welsh writers overseas

Hello all. I am about to embark on my first solo writing project as a novelist - a commercial novel set half in Wales and half in Marbella, Spain. As usual, I am struggling to find the time to write while also doing my job as a commercial writer and would appreciate enough dosh to take a couple of months' sabatical. Does ANYONE know of any grants that might be available to someone who wants to write a book with a Welsh theme but is not currently living in Wales? I was born in Wales, but have been living in South Africa and Spain for a while.

 

If anyone knows of anything I would be enormously grateful.
