Excellent - have emailed this link to friends and colleagues who are theatre makers of wales (and Ireland and elsewhere - encouraging those outside Cymru to write or organise their own letter, etc).

Great, I concur and will suggest others write letters additionally. Spoke about it at the RSC today, they have a new season coming up called 'What country friend is this?' David Farr co-directing with the AD of the National Theatre of Palestine, they should all write too.

I agree Terry. Let's keep it phrased as 'the theatre-makers of Wales' - I think that's keeps a focus and a clear, direct connection.  Of course I won't be policing who signs - anyone who wants to put their name to the list will be included.  If possible do get people to put their names as a comment below the blog I'll put on the main page - it will be encouraging to see the list grow publicly.

I'd say the power is in sending it from a small country; then add it to the clamour that should be happening across the UK and the rest of the world.
