otherMother

otherMother are Kelly Jones (Writer), Anna Poole (Director) and Olivia Harris (Producer). otherMother creates original, urgent and honest theatre. We put raw voices on stage and root them in the here and the now. Our work poses questions about the world we live in but doesn’t answer them, leaving them open to discussion and debate. We work with an exciting and diverse mix of artists, theatre-makers and groups to create something truly collaborative.See More

Hello Andrew,
We are a group of final year students at the University of the Arts, in London. I am currently on the pre-production process of our major project, which is a short film called 'The Parting Glass'.
The film is about the importance of the bond between father, and daughter. We are looking for a supporting actor to play Johan, a paternal figure who left a friend behind during a bank robbery.
We will be filming in Snowdonia (Dolgellau, and near Tryfan),  from February 23rd to 26th.
Please, let me know if you are interested, so we can schedule a Skype audition.
Thanks for your time. I will be looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Kind regards,
Rocio Lopez

Hi Andrew, thank you for contacting us. I'm afraid I should have been much clearer in my description - this is a charity event therefore all participation is voluntary. If the production is deemed a sucess, then we shall be looking at future commercial productions and shall certainly keep you in mind.  Again, thank you.
