Event Description

The history of the R.O.F. Munitions Work at Pembrey is to be the stimulation for a new devised drama production to be held at the country park during the Jubilee bank holiday week-end.

With 3,000 workers, the life of the ‘Gwaith Pwdwr’ has played a significant role in the military history of the UK. Combine this with an incredible location and you have the potential for a memorable and unique performance. We want to make an accurate portrayal of what it was like to work there and want to illustrate the universality of the local stories when linked to other similar factories during WWII.

Performances will be on the 1st, 2nd and 4th June at 2.00pm, 5.00pm and 7.00pm.

Contact 01267 676669 (Mair in Performing Arts) for booking details.
