We wish to inform all the Italian and European schools and Italian and European Cultural Institutions that the “PREMIO GIORGIO GABER PER LE NUOVE GENERAZIONI” this school year (2012/2013) will take place from May 2nd to May 19th 2013 in Arcidosso in the Grosseto province (Tuscany).
The total prize money, amounting to EURO 13.000,00 , is to be intended as financial support aimed to school or statutary activities and it will be distributed among the 8 best plaed projects and the external experts collaborating with the first ranking project.
In the past 3 years 25 schools and 4 Cultural Institutions were awarded a total amount of EURO 32.500,00.
The award, or festival, is addressed to:
‐ all the Italian schools, of all levels, except nursery schools;
‐ all the European schools, of all levels, except nursery and primary (elementary) schools;
‐ all the Italian and European Cultural Institutions.
The award includes two different sections: Drama and Cinema.
A project submission form is available for download on the award website, filling it in and sending it will be enough to participate in the first selection. The form should contain a brief outline of the project (play or short film) chosen to take part in the competition.
The Schools and Cultural Institutions that will be selected to participate in the final stage of the award, will compete presenting in person their productions (either plays or short films) and taking part in the learning activities that will be organized during the event.
