Event Description

We are looking to cast lead actors in our upcoming film 'FRONT'

Synopsis

Liam an escort and his client Diane are invited to the ‘Exclusive Art Exhibition of Maurice’ an eccentric but yet true character. The gallery is alien to Liam and as he tries to take in the vast and elaborate surroundings and characters he notices and becomes desperately infatuated by a waitress, Belle. The front that Liam is trying to portray triggers series of unexpected and preposterous events. Through this one night Liam learns that to win Belle he will have to reveal his true self and drop ‘The Front'.

We are looking for actors to fill the role of three parts.

Liam

Male / 18-24 yrs. / Caucasian

Liam has a good heart but hides his emotions. after a bad break up and being hurt he became very bitter and protective of himself. He adapts well to his role as an escort as he can distance himself from reality. He wishes to be rich and is ashamed of his background as he was not brought up in luxury and its one of the reasons he believes his girlfriend left him. He tries hard to become someone else but this role as an escort is damaging as it protects him form his core emotions.

Belle

Female / 18-24 yrs. / Caucasian.

Belle has a strong and caring heart, She is true to herself and isn't fooled by Liam’s front he puts on to try and seduce her. She is smart and see’s the art for what it really is much like Liam. she is Strong and independent, Belle isn’t looking for someone to look after her, she is confident in the fact that she can shape her own future. she is wild and likes to live on the edge.

Maurice

Male / 31-40 yrs. / Caucasian.

Maurice has a strong but odd personality; he is charismatic and works well with in busy and stressful situations. Being an entrepreneur from a young age he has leant how to deal with people in such a manor to get what he wants and still maintain control. The main thing that he has leant from life from his travels around the world is not to take it too seriously; he’s seen it all and done it all. he loves to be elbarte, bizarre and intriguing, but mostly, he loves art.

Diane

Diane, the client to Liam is reserved and appears cold on appearance and personality but she has a good heart. She is somewhat lonely and has covered herself in jewellery and expensive clothing to suppress her insecurities. She enjoys lavish events so she can be seen in all her glory and not forgotten about but really she would prefer to be at home with a large glass of wine most for the time.

Looking to film in Cardiff or Newport in February/March (date to be verified)

Auditions to be held in late January. Date to be confirmed once all entries have been received in the next two weeks.

Payment details: £35 a day plus expenses
