The Story
A Mouse, a Lion and a Tortoise are thrown together and tell some of the most famous moral tales in history with their own rather quirky spin. The Mouse tells stories because it doesn’t want to get eaten by the Lion, the Lion because it wants to eat the Mouse, and the Tortoise because…well ...because it wants to eat its lettuce sandwich.
These animal raconteurs take us through a multitude of Fables involving wily wolves, dopey dogs, haring hares and even silly humans. In the true spirit of Aesop, this delightful production will have you laughing out loud Theatr na n’Óg’s production of Aesop’s Fables is perfect entertainment for 4 – 8 years of age and their families.
