The plot:

It’s taken Wales 58 years to get to a major tournament. Daf and Dave, two devoted fans, have one day. It should be enough but setbacks and misunderstandings put them in flight from the law and in danger of missing their plane. An Evening with Gareth Bale is a fast-paced show that sees a coming together of the poetic and the comic that’s like a collision between Dylan Thomas and Robbie Savage. Will Daf and Dave reach their goal? What does their quest to pay homage to their idol, Gareth Bale, say about modern Welshness and masculinity? Do lucky pants, technically, improve Wales’ chances?
