Andy Fairweather is a Welsh guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. He was one of the founding members of 1960’s British pop band ‘Amen Corner’ who had Top 10 hits with songs such as ‘If Paradise is Half as Nice’, ‘Bend me Shape Me’ and ‘Hello Suzy’. The band split in 1970 with Fairweather Low leaving and forming ‘Fair Weather’, who had a hit with ‘Natural Sinner’.
After 12months Andy left to pursue a solo career, releasing four albums up until 1980 which saw single chart success with songs such as ‘Reggae Tune’ and ‘Wide Eyed and Legless’.
He sang backing vocals on The Who’s album ‘Who Are You’ and has also worked with Roger Walters, Eric Clapton, Dave Edmunds, George Harrison and Bill Wyman.
Andy Fairweather Low’s pedigree is the stuff rock dreams are made of. Don’t miss this legend in action performing with his band ‘The Low Riders’ (Paul Beavis Bass and vocals, Richard Dunn Drums, and Nick Pentelow on Sax).
