Event Description

Cardigan Lantern Parade is becoming legendary bringing light, fun and creativity to the dark end of the year. This year following on from it’s coastal sightings to 21,000 audience a giant sea monster the Cragen ( will appear on the river glowing with a strange light. The parade theme is the sea, so flotilla's of exquisite boats, extra ordinary fishes, sea creatures a lighthouse and ghost other characters make their illuminated way to the castle. With the monster swimming in the river Teifi followed by Fireworks and fire juggling in the castle this promises to be an unforgettable evening. Food and drink will be on sale. Small World Theatre have helped the community to deliver hundreds of beautiful lanterns in one of Wales' signature creative events.

If you have a lantern which has a sea theme you can bring it along if you contact well beforehand so we can find you a place in this walking narrative.

7.00pm Free make a donation for the fireworks if you can
