Taliesin’s annual dance festival, now in its tenth year, brings a diverse mix of dance performance to Swansea city centre. It takes place in and around Castle Square, as well as around the National Waterfront Museum. Professional companies from around the UK will perform alongside local community groups in over fifty performances across the weekend – and it’s absolutely free!
This year, Dance Days brings to the city centre and marina a dazzling weekend of dance from lindy hop to parkour. There will be dance around every corner, from circus to street, through traditional dance from India to Welsh clogging, plus some very mischievous mermaids – something for the whole family.
Dance Days takes place in the city centre and in and around the National Waterfront Museum on Saturday 18th July, and in and around the Waterfront Museum on Sunday 19th July.
This exciting free festival is now firmly on the Swansea summer calendar, this year promising to be a cheeky yet charming fun packed weekend. Full information as well as a downloadable schedule is available online at: www.taliesinartscentre.co.uk/dancedays
