This year DumbWise has been collaborating with current and budding writers to scratch and develop new plays for performance. The latest project, Baby, is a new play by Francis Ford which follows the story of three young adults and their attempt to escape a world of poverty and prostitution by means of selling life's purest commodity.



After an encouraging London reading in the spring, DumbWise are rocking up in Cardiff to perform the play’s third draft.



With the craft of storytelling at its heart, DumbWise produces risky, probing and humorous plays with an unashamedly human candour. The company’s original works are rooted in contemporary British culture and will appeal to those who live in the now.
