Forget leotards and trapezes, France’s grittiest circus trio Cirque Inextremiste return to the Centre with gas canisters, scaffolding and heavy duty machinery in their brand new show Extension.

Set high above a builders’ yard, three feuding co-workers have a score to settle with each other on a structure that is always in danger of collapse. One falls, and everyone falls.

Adrenalin-fuelled and full of black humour, Extension sees one performer trade in his wheelchair for a mini-digger which becomes a powerful extension of himself.

Cirque Inextremiste return to Hijinx Unity after wowing audiences with Extrêmités at Unity 2013.
