Fragments of Ash is an electrifying new play. Intelligent, physical theatre that addresses the news agenda and explores the domestic impact of war after war after war. A love story, measured in tragedies, which asks a shocking question: what would it take to make an ordinary British mother become a suicide bomber? With the current news focus very much on military wives and mothers, Fragments of Ash, written in 2010 tells the story of how an ordinary army wife and mother is affected by war after war after war.
"...a very important piece of theatre." Informed Edinburgh.
