Event Description
Future Dance Cardiff celebrates exceptional young dancers in summerdance 2011. A perfect programme that presents two enthralling dance productions including NDCWales Associates performing an excerpt from Stephen Petronio’s By Singing Light, followed by the premiere of Fair and Softly Goes Far with Elfyn Jones’ specially commissioned piece played by WNO Young Players. A partnership between Arts Active, National Dance Company Wales and Welsh National Opera, this year’s summerdance is a must see for those with a passion for fresh new dance and music. Summerdance 2011 company perform under the direction of NDCWales Artistic Associate, Roy Campbell-Moore.
This one-off performance is the culmination and celebration of a year-round series of training and performance events for young dancers led by NDCWales dancers and choreographers in partnership with Arts Active.
