Haphazard Theatre Company is proud to present one of the greatest farce comedy writer’s masterpieces – “Changing Rooms”
A sharp and witty play that is full of hilarious situations that will entertain and amuse.
Bernard is a high flying government official, who is desperately trying to get some time alone with his mistress, Brigitte.
Jacqueline, his wife, is desperately trying, in between crashing expensive cars and buying antiques, to get some time alone with her toy boy lover Robert.
When each feels they have achieved their aim of getting rid of the other for the weekend, they both see it as the perfect opportunity to fulfil their desires and turn playing away into a home fixture.
Their housekeeper, who is longing for some peace, quiet and time to herself away from her employers, is left to orchestrate the ensuing chaos as the complications grow around mistaken identities and ridiculous situations.
The weekend turns out to be pandemonium with predictably hilarious results and of course trousers around ankles.
