Event Description

On the 28th July we invite you to take to the streets and become suspended ‘Weightless in Cardiff’ for 3 minutes at the strike of 12pm.

This will be a celebration and a symbol of unity, diversity and equality in the city. It will publicize and mark the beginning of the performance ‘ In Water I’m Weightless’ which opens on the 26th of July at the Wales Millennium Centre

We’ll be meeting at the Aneurin Bevan statue on Queen Street (the Castle end) at about 11.45.

Please wear an item of yellow (this will represent our celebration of equality and diversity). It can be an item of clothing, an object like an umbrella or even a banana!!

What is a flashmob?
A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a place, perform an unusual act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression.
Invite all you friends - Let's make it a huge one!

Look forward to seeing you on Queen Street
