Tickets: £6 | Age restriction: 16+

Two groups who've been involved in our Incubator project recently will share their work, and would love for you to attend and give feedback.

'The Good Earth' by Fragments
Developed by Fragments and directed by Rachael Boulton.

The Good Earth-04

"They'll have to drag me and my family kicking and screaming from this house."

In 1979, the villagers of Troedrhiwgwair, near Tredegar, were ordered by the local council to leave their homes, as the mountain behind the village was expected to slide at any moment. A handful of villagers dug in and refused to move, creating enemies of the council, their friends and neighbours who moved down the valley to safety.

The Good Earth is the explosive story of the families whose homes and mountain was everything to them, and fought for 20 years to defend their homes from outsiders, intellectuals and politicians.

'Sonata' by Iestyn Arwel
An eulogy to the bright young things that make up the '27 club': Hendrix, Cobain, Winehouse.

sonata1

The haunting question of 'What could they have been?' Expectation, hype, and pressure all lead to corrode the purest of talents, but without it, what pushes us on? The potential of being first or being the fastest, the strongest has pushed the human race since its inception. So what happens when you take that potential away?
