What is Improv Comedy?
Making it up on the spot, being spontaneous, creating scenes and sketches in collaborative co-operation. Finding the Funny Together!
"Spontaneous, impulsive creativity.
"Improv is using the unknown to your advantage. Relying on the known to explore the unknown. Finding the unexpected and allowing the something to occur. Improv can be used in all forms of theatre, dance and music. We all improvise our everyday life. No one wakes up to read the script for the day. Everyone relies on the natural flow of their experiences to encounter the moments to come." (Keates, 2007)
