Event Description

The Arts Council of Wales recently awarded The Llanarth Group a Theatre Development Award for ‘Playing The Maids’--a collaborative exploration between

  • THE LLANARTH GROUP (Wales, U.K.)
  • GAITKRASH (Cork, Republic of Ireland), and
  • THEATRE P’YUT (Seoul, Korea).

As part of the Llanarth Group’s commitment to providing opportunities for the development of Wales-based artists several young in career artists (dramaturg/playwrights, directors, performer/devisers) will be invited to observe and respond to the development work-in-progress to take place in Llanarth between 25-31 August, 2013. Those selected will be invited to observe the development work at the Tyn y parc Studio, and attend the (by invitation only) sharing of work-in-progress (31 August in Llanarth; 1 September at Y Llofft, Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff).

For further information, please email Phillip Zarrilli (info@phillipzarrilli.com).

To apply: send an artistic resume, and statement of interest by mail or email no later than 1 July, 2013 to Phillip Zarrilli, Artistic Director, The Llanarth Group (Tyn y parc, Llanarth, SA47 0PB; or info@phillipzarrilli.com). Those selected will be informed by 15 July, 2013.
