Event Description

Come join Weeping Tudor Productions on Bloomdsday for a special celebration of James Joyce’s Ulysses.

Expect readings, songs, performance art & installations. Participants are welcome to share their favourite Ulysses passages and dressing up in Bloomsday attire is encouraged and very welcome!

Regarded as the greatest novel of the 20th Century, Ulysses is an extraordinary journey through Dublin, set within a single day: 16th June 1904. Leo Bloom walks about the city, concerned with his wife Molly, as she embarks on an affair with another man. Whilst Stephan Dedalus frets over his mother’s death, he encounters Leo along the way and a friendship blossoms. All of life is in Ulysses and put simply, everyone should read it.

Interested in reading your favourite extract from Ulysses? Let us know, since there is limited space.

Come join us and let’s make Dublin jealous! ;)
