Event Description

Just as it seems Room to Read has been packed into a cosy box of straw for the winter, along comes the chance for one final outdoor event, courtesy of the Made in Roath Arts Festival.

Everyone and anyone can join in. Just pick up a book you love and want to share – out loud - and bring it to outside the Library a little before 12. At mid-day everyone starts reading aloud, simultaneously, for as long or as briefly as they wish, until 12.30.

Help play your part in this buzzing community-based Festival by creating an inverted mirror of Penylan Library - people reading outside not indoors, people standing to read not sitting, reading aloud not in silence, in public not private, amongst movement and noise not comparative quiet and rest.
