Welcome to Phase 1 of the Infinite Expansion.

It was only a matter of time before SD ventured into avenues anew. The Dawg is unchained.

This is something a little different. A little radical. A little flippin' daring. This month, we'll be staging rehearsed readings (FREE, of course, if that detail became lost in the subtlety of the title) of two 20-30 minute pieces, penned by the estimable LEAH BYRNE and OTHNIEL SMITH. They've danced with the Dawg before, but now... it's... a... longer dance.

Wednesday will mark the first step in the process. Following the event, we Dawgers will continue to work with our lovely writers and actors throughout April, editing and expanding. All will culminate in an off-book (oh yeah, we're going there!) performance at the end of the month.

If ideas, art and life are your thing, come on down and witness the birth of beauty. And so you have the necessary tools to judge us in April.
