Event Description

Sherman Theatre's having an anniversary party - and you're invited!

To celebrate the Sherman turning 40 we are hosting nine new original plays, which have been submitted by nine writers, some of whom may not have written for the stage before! Each play is inspired by symbols for anniversary gifts during the first forty years – from paper to ruby, and everything inbetween!

There will be three plays performed each night by a team of professional actors. The plays will be performed in front of a panel of industry experts - writers, actors and directors, who will be on hand to give their advice. The winning script will be chosen by you, the audience, each night. Come along and join the celebrations!

Tuesday 26 November - director Matthew Bulgo

G&M by Neil Walden

A Very Modern Office by David Harris

Wednesday 27 November - director Julia Thomas

Thursday 28 Nov - director Catherine Paskell
