Event Description

Mr and Mrs Clark have teamed up with Bosch artists Steven George Jones and Andrew James Rock to explore destruction and primarily destruction in art. With some historical references to cultural cleansing, acknowledgment to destructive artists and some personal insight to the creative process we aim to challenge the audience to question the merit of destroying art and the power of outrage to such damaging acts. With choreography by Catherine Bennett, design by Becky Kemp Davies and mentoring by Andre Stitt SMASH IT UP uses film, dance, performance art and music to draw the viewer into the world of destruction.... kicking and screaming if necessary. Safety goggles may be provided but best to bring your own.
