Three fathers try to escape nappies and nursery rhymes and relive their youth by reforming their old band. There’ll be live music on stage as they get ready for a battle of the bands contest, while dealing with the pressures of being role models for their kids.
Written by award winning Gloucester playwright Jarek Adams, and created especially for the Guildhall. It’s a comedy about growing up for anyone who’s struggling with that, aged 5 to 105.
With music by George Moorey & Directed by Jilly Breeze
Feedback from kids focus group: It made me think about dads and what they do when you’re not around. It was pretty cool with great jokes. Awesome!!!
The play is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through the Arts Council England. All tickets are £7 each.
A really fun event during the summer holidays, with performances on Thursday Friday and Saturday afternoons from 11 to 27th August.
Tickets are on sale now through the Guildhall Box Office: 01452 503050

I know this isn't in Wales, but I'm Welsh born and bred, so my play will be full of music and singing. Pop over the border to see this if you're looking for something fun to do over the summer holidays.
