One Week Courses 9.30a.m – 3.30pm open to all children from all schools aged 7 – 11 (years 2 – 6)

The Shakespeare Summer School is a fun and practical introduction to Shakespeare and Drama. Omidaze Productions feel very passionately about providing access to and ownership of Shakespeare through an exciting and totally interactive approach. We will not be rehearsing a production therefore no former knowledge or experience of Drama or Shakespeare is required.  This year’s key text will be Romeo & Juliet.

The course is written and led by Yvonne Murphy who has over twenty year’s experience in Educational Theatre and works for The National Theatre & Shakespeare Schools Festival specialising in providing access to Shakespeare.

The cost is £90 per student or £160 for two siblings.

There is also one free scholarship place available for each week for a student who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship.

Mae Ysgol Haf Shakespeare yn darparu cyflwyniad ymarferol, llawn hwyl i waith Shakespeare ac i Ddrama. Mae Cynhyrchiadau Omidaze yn teimlo'n angerddol y dylid rhoi mynediad i a pherchnogaeth i Shakespeare drwy ddull cyffrous a hollol  ryngweithiol. Ni fyddwn yn rihyrsio at gynhyrchiad felly nid oes angen profiad blaenorol o ddrama na Shakespeare. Testun eleni fydd Romeo a Juliet.
