     UNCOMMON SPRING:
         The Last Tale
      of Edgar Allan Poe.

Poe, who wrote such classics as "The Tell-Tale Heart" and "The Fall of The House of Usher," died in mysterious circumstances in October 1849 and his literary estate was subsequently entrusted to the man who hated him most of all!

"Uncommon Spring" attempts to solve the mystery of the author's last days, and this most astonishing decision. It also throws light on the truth behind his life and work through correcting the many myths Poe spun about his background and relationships.

Fiery verbal exchanges and dramatised scenes from the writer's most famous "tales of mystery and imagination" slowly reveal the truth behind the many faces of this "man of lies".

Featuring a cast of four actors, "Uncommon Spring" is a play about ideas, human nature, and complex motivations and should appeal to "general audiences" as well as those with an interest in ghostly fiction.
It is unsuitable for those under 16 years of age."

It's author, Adrian Drew is the pen name of senior figure in the media industries who, is a former BBC producer. His collection of ghostly short stories "Shadows on the Fens" will be published in the autumn and a collected edition of six of his plays - including "Uncommon Spring"  will also be published next year.
