Volcano is a show about eruptions and emotions, tension and release, geology, human beings, a pilot and the Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody. It is funny and deadly serious. And it's about letting go.
Join Clerke and Joy as they follow the story of a pilot's personal eruption whilst grounded during the Eyjafjallajökull ash cloud in April 2010. Part performance, part lecture and part school science experiment, they use lo-fi props to recreate gigantic events, and gigantic events to illuminate small lives with pathos and a deep sense of life's absurdity.
