Hi everybody,

A little random question here. My friend, Violet, wants to come to the next Hide and Seek on September 3rd but she needs me to check with you all if she's welcome. The reason for this is that she's quite a well known prostitute around Cardiff and fears that unless people have been informed before hand that she might be found out throughout the night.

So yeah, there it is. Can she come?

I'm taking it that she isn't welcome then????
Can she wear a badge?
Thanks Beth, when I asked you to ask them I didn't think you would be so blunt! Ummm, hi, it's me, Violet! Yeah....I'm really interested in theatre, plays and things and someone told me this was free and so thought it would be a good place to start! Had a look through the members, don't think I recognize any of you so that's good! Maybe we can get to know each other better by the end of the night!!! (that's a joke by the way, sorry)
Hi Bethan, (and Violet), although I'm unable to come to the Sandpit here's an opinion.

Violet is a human being and a citizen with human and civil rights. That surely should be enough said!

This site to date has been extremely welcoming and inclusive and given that NTW is an organisation funded through the public purse I can't think why she shouldn't be welcomed to attend an NTW event. I suppose Violet, you might be concerned that you'd be approached by a potential client on the night which may cause some embarrassment to other gamers or the client. I guess if that were the case it would give you the opportunity for a slightly unusual reply... 'I'm sorry, I'm not working tonight, I'm playing Hide and Seek with my friends.!'
Thanks Peter, that's really kind of you. It's been a while since someone called me a citizen with human and civil rights 1(try saying that to Enterprise car hire on Penarth Road!)

Gutted you won't be there, maybe next time.

what's going to be happening there does anyone know? Are we actually playing Hide and Seek?!
Hide&Seek are the London-based company who are developing the Sandpit evening with us. I'm sure if you wanted to play an impromptu game of hide and seek that would be great! But there are going to be lots and lots of other games going on. We have about 20 booked in so far. The evening is called Sandpit because it is a time and place for playing new games for development. Some of the games are pure play - others are more 'immersive experiences' and have a theatrical bent. The best way to find out more is to click on the EVENTS option on the top of this page and register to come along. And please bring friends too!

There is also a Sandpit group if you click on the GROUPS option at the top of this page.

Has anyone been to the last one? What did you think? I had a great time! And loved seeing so many people running around, bonding as a team, and having a lovely time together.
Yeah, I went, it was a lot of fun- you're actually encouraged to get into trouble! You're gonna love it Violet!!!
Hi Peter.

Saw that you sent me a note but pressed something and it dissappeared. Sorry! Could you send it again please? Sorry.
Ha, ha Beth! Lol! You know me too well!

I'm excited. It'll be a nice change. I normally just sit at home and watch tv and then go to work. I can feel this is the beginning of something new for me. Bring it on!!!
Hi Beth,

Not sure how to use this site, tried sending you a message but don't know how.

I'm in a bit of trouble. Can you call me? She's been threatening me again.
V.x
I'm trying to call you. Why aren't you answering???? Are you still on this site????
Hi guys!!! Sorry I haven't been in touch, no battery on my phone and lost my charger! lol. See you all tomorrow!!! Hope you're all coming, I'm still really nervous and could do with some moral support. 6.30 Royal College of Dance and Drama right? Sounds a pit posh!!!!x
