Big announcement...

Today we are launching Kiln 3! Applications for writing are now open at: so start getting busy.

Building from the incredible success of Kiln 1 and 2, Kiln 3 is being run as a free R&D project for local writers. Have you had a budding idea in the back of your mind and need the impetus to do it? Are you 9 tenths of the way there and need that extra push to get it on it's feet? Then Kiln is for you. Submit your ideas in as complete a format as you have them before the end of the month and we'll consider them to be part of Kiln 3, with 3 pieces being chosen.

Your piece will be worked on by a dedicated director and a cast of talented actors, and performed in front of a live audience on the first weekend of October, November and December, all for free. What better way to get your ideas out there, so get your pens at the ready and start submitting.

Welcome to Kiln 3 - It's gonna be huge.

Hi everyone,

We're after some professionals with some amazing skills for City of the Unexpected, including aerialists, Chinese Pole artists, a BMX expert, Parkour artist and unicyclists..! Check my blogs here and here for all the details.

If you know people with these skills please do spread the word! We'd love to meet and audition people next week.

Hi friends! For the past few months I've been working with WNO on an innovative modern opera all about student activism. This is the biggest project I've ever worked on, and I highly recommend it.

Tickets for under 30s are just £5, plus there are free open rehearsals. Details below, or let me know if you have any questions.

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of setting up a Comedy improvisation group, with the hope to play, learn and put on performances. It would be great to have people on the same wave length who want to try things out. If you are interested it would be one evening per week, for free! I am really keen to set up a group which welcomes all! If you're interested please email me: Big thanks! Chantal.
