Barmouth Assembly will take at Bath House on Thursday 8th July @ 7pm (free entry) <br></br><br></br>Get together with local jazz singers,drummers, poets, mcs, care takers, harbour masters, bar tenders, dog owners, tea drinkers etc... And talk about what really matters. <br></br><br></br>Barmouth Assembly will investigate the town’s different rhythms and beats, fluctuating between summer tourism waves and winter retreats. <div><br></br></div>

<p style="text-align: left;">This question is the result of many conversations about the shape of the city, its development and vitality but also its ghosts and past.…</p>

<br/><br/>An election campaign is imminent. We can be in no doubt that it will bring with it a variety of performances of leadership, authority, authenticity and honesty. How might theatre respond? What kind of politics can theatre today present or enact? Can theatre be a medium of deliberation, debate and dissent and in what spaces might it flourish?
