The Beach group have been up to North Wales again this week to dig deeper into our beaches, locations and surrounding communities.

As I'm from North Wales it's a huge bonus to be able to go back home but this week I was going back home on another level.

I've been forcing myself to think like a Ludologist (thinking of nothing but the game- the rules, the objectives, strategies) for the past few months because I'm coming at this project from a very different background- for me, it's all about the story. It's been a great but I have to share my relief when I heard Catherine say "you can now start thinking about the world of this game, think of what the story is!"

I'm really enjoying the challenge of thinking differently and assessing it all from a game designer's point of view. But it's bloody lovely to pop back home every now and again!

Ah ha, do you mean lewd-ologist?

:-)
Is that how it's spelt? I thought it came from the word 'ludo'! I guess that proves that it doesn't come to me naturally and that you, are, possibly more of a lewdologist (but I won't put you in a box- I know you don't sit comfortably with that!
No, you were right the first time. I was just making a cheeky pun.
