How to get involved with Paper Stages

Forest Fringe and National Theatre Wales invite you to Paper Stages, a festival of performance contained within the pages of a book.

Each page contains a completely new work by a different artist.

Collectively these artists invite you to perform their creations in various locations around your city, from side streets and parks to your own home.

National Theatre Wales commissioned two artists/artist groups to contribute to this book: John Norton & Matthew Wright and Bambo Soyinka.  Find them on pages 26 and 34 respectively.

You cannot buy Paper Stages; we ask only for you to spend one hour of your time doing something to help other people. For those of you accessing Paper Stages via National Theatre Wales, we are building a list of activities that you can complete in one hour that can make a positive impact in your community.  Please see our (and your) crowdsourced suggestions on this page for ideas.

To get the book, choose your activity and then send us some photographic evidence of you doing it!  We would suggest a photo of you doing the activity, alongside a snapshot of the clock to show the start/end of your hour.  But feel free to use your imaginations!  Send your evidence to us at paperstages2013@gmail.com and we will email you a code.  You can take this code to NTW offices to pick up your hard copy, or if you prefer we can send you a beautifully designed PDF copy.
