So we are hugely into collecting and mapping. We love the idea of learning new things and gaining new insights into what could be perceived as mundane. That's why we love games and play.

So what are the games you remember from childhood? What rules did you impose? what responses did they provide? How scary were they?

We would love to know, over to you.

It has to be Exquisite Corpse - a game I always remember playing in school during classes!  For people who haven't played it, this was a very simple game where you would follow a set list of types of words e.g. adjective, verb etc and create a narrative by writing one word on a piece of paper, folding the page over and then handing it over to the next player.  The end would usually be a bizarre work of fiction. You can also do it with drawing a person, starting with the head, shoulders, etc.  It was great because everybody knew the rules and often during lessons a spontaneous game would start and you'd get a folded bit of paper handed to you (usually during Maths) and you knew instantly someone at started a round of the game at the back of the class.
I think for me the best game I played in the playground has to be the most simple. I cant remember what it was called but I think it was a bit like stuck in the mud. I loved the idea about being captured but then being able to be saved by an active player.

I was climbing the other day at Boulders and a group of children were playing Sea Shore anyone remember this?
