Missed last year's playARK Talks? We'll be releasing videos of all our speakers each week. First up is Alison Norrington talking about Reclaiming Stories:

Alison Norrington - playARK 2013 from yellobrick on Vimeo.

playARK is an annual two day festival that takes place in Cardiff. It explores playful approaches to learning, living and working now and in the future. The talks feature interesting playful projects (both physical and digital) taking place in the UK and beyond. We are interested in hearing about practices that subvert the norm in some way and push the boundaries of the predefined. The theme of the conference last year was RECLAIMED, looking in particular at story, traditional learning, urban environments, craft/hacking and looking how games and playful experiences exist within these areas.

The games day showcases some of the best talent in street and pervasive games, immersive theatre and interactive projects nationally and internationally.

@Charlene There's anew network for producers in Wales - Producer's Place

Information about how and when we meet is posted on this page. Events have so far been based in Cardiff but this might change in the future. Will you continue to be based in Carmarthen?

Hi all, I'm graduating this year from Trinity Saint David and thought about going down the route of producing. I'm new to it all and was wondering if anyone had any advice or tips they could share with me? Thanks!

This sounds really exciting and I know of several people who would be very interested but are already unavailable on those days.  Please let us know if you plan more events like this or if you can update us on how it went we'd be delighted?

Regards
