Some information on the That Changed My Life project led by What Next? South East:
There’s a group of us working on a project that encourages folk to upload short films about a moment of art that changed their lives. It’s organised by the What Next? South East branch. What Next? is a national movement to find new ways of championing the arts and culture.
Could you send this on to people who you think might make a short film (up to 2 mins in length but the shorter the better) speaking about a moment of art (book, film, performance, comic, music, etc) that changed their life? It’d be great if could you share it amongst your networks. You could tweet something like: ‘Tell us why the arts matter to you. Make a short video about a moment that changed your life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scE5Ogzg98U#thatchangedmylife’
Here is a link to some existing examples: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiDiaO8t1YwvHAJ_ABP6D4j9L7ZP... Here is a link to how to make & upload your video. I’ve also attached a handy ‘how to guide’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scE5Ogzg98U We’re aiming to have 500 films on the channel by the end of May. It’d be great if you could make one and also send this on to people who might consider doing so themselves. We’re after a wide range of people participating.
