Our next SYNERGIZE meeting will be on Monday 24th June 5pm - 7pm in Tesco's Community Room, Western Avenue, Cardiff.
This month's session will be led by actor & director Lynn Hunter and open to all actors, directors, writers and producers.
If you'd like to join us please email for more details.

SYNERGIZE is the habit of creative cooperation. It is teamwork, open-mindedness, and the adventure of finding new solutions to old problems. But it doesn't just happen on its own. It's a process, and through that process, people bring all their personal experience and expertise to the table.

At National Theatre Wales we are proud to be supporting Fly The Flag.  Check out ways in which schools are able to get involved by clicking on the links below.

This June, schools across the UK are invited to take part in an international moment to mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Artist Ai Weiwei has created a new flag to symbolise universal human rights which will fly from buildings all across the world from 24 — 30 June 2019.

Fly The Flag aims to engage the next generation in understanding and valuing their human rights.
FREE cross-curricular resources for ages 5 to 18 designed in consultation with teachers, are available to download from to support this learning. The resources use creative activities to promote enquiry and debate, and help pupils gain a better understanding about what human rights mean today. Plan your lesson or school assembly now and take part in this international moment.
To find out what events are taking place near you and for more details about how to Fly The Flag for human rights this June, visit www.FlyThe or sign up to the mailing list here

Summer playARK 2019

We've put together a programme of events for the summer that includes a new game, a reboot of one of our classic street games as well as a night of fun mini games.

What is playARK?
For those who have never been to a playARK event, it is a place where people can play, make and test games. We aim to make cities more playful and bring people together through shared playful experiences.

The games you will discover at playARK often take place in public spaces, can be high tech or low tech, sometimes they are serious, sometimes they are silly, often they are both.

We want to build a community of people interested in games, play and making! If you are interested in bringing a game to playARK or have any questions about our upcoming events please get in touch.

Cold Case
2nd June
14:00 - 16:00
Wales Millennium Centre

Our new tabletop detective game: Cold Case. The only evidence that remains of this unsolved murder is stored in this box. Listen to the police interviews, trawl through the evidence and state your case.

Can you find what police missed?

28th July
14:00 - 16:00
Wales Millennium Centre

We are putting on a micro-festival of mini-games. We will have a selection of some of our favourites for you to play. Games will be taking place inside and outside. Play to win and play for fun!

Be prepared for silliness!

Street Game
25th August
14:00 - 16:00
Wales Millennium Centre

We have been thinking that it's been a little while since we played a street game across Cardiff. So we are currently turning thinking into making. This will be a reboot of one of our classic street games.

More details soon...

Dyma offer gwych arall am aelodau TEAM!

Hoffem gynnig tocynnau arbennig i chi ar gyfer cyngerdd BBC NOW a gynhelir cyn bo hir: Mozart a Bartók.

…Mae Beethoven a Bartók yn cyfateb ei gilydd gydag egni angerddol yn yr hanner cyntaf. Gwrthdaro mewnol a brwydr fawr ei arwr Shakespearaidd sy’n ysgogi agorawd Beethoven, ac mae Bartók yr un mor ddisglair er gwaethaf ei salwch a’i alltudiaeth wrth gyfleu ei gariad tuag at ei famwlad a’r Hen Fyd. Mae Mozart yn dangos grym ei ysgrifennu operatig yn ei symffoni olaf ond un, sy’n ddosbarth meistr mewn tensiwn a rhyddhad…

Tocynnau £5* ar gael drwy ffonio Llinell Cynulleidfaoedd Cerddorfa Genedlaethol Gymreig y BBC ar 0800 052 1812 (dydd Llun i ddydd Gwener) cyn 5pm ddydd Mercher 8 Mai a dweud eich bod yn archebu o dan y “Cynnig £5”. Isod mae’r dolenni am ragor o wybodaeth am y cyngherddau:
