This might be my favourite knitted character to date and it seems Marc's too!

My new favourite knitted UMW figure....Polly Garter complete with

woollen garter....lovingly made by Annie Hardy

Another from Marc . . .

'Mother makes Welsh cakes in the snow', As illustrated by Sir Peter

Blake. The series took Blake over 28 years to complete and includes

illustrations using pencil, watercolor, and collage, which detail

every aspect of Thomas's fictional seaside village Llareggub. This

arresting scene from UMW will also be re imagined for Raw Material:

Llareggub Revisited.

Dylan Thomas in Browns Hotel... (Judith Rees, who created this mask, will be working with Laugharne schoolchildren on spooky papier mache sculptures of sea birds)

Here's another image update from Marc . . .

Dylan's iconic writing shed is now mobile !

Sheds of all shapes will feature strongly in Raw Material,  moored,

mirrored, miniature, corrugated and ghost ones .

Marc has been sharing some brilliant images with us to document his adventures in Laugharne...(I can confirm that both his OSB and his kitchen are indeed incredible)...

TSwansea based artist Simon Dark will be creating some new works on OSB for the show ...I love Oriented strand board (OSB), I even have it in my kitchen (will post a pic tomorrow ).

OSB engineered wood particle board formed by layering strands (flakes) of wood in specific orientations. It may have a rough and variegated surface with the individual strips of around 2.5 × 15 cm (1" x 6"), lying unevenly across each other.
