Overall dates: 20th September - 15th October 2021

All round technical skills required to assist the Technical Manager in the rigging of set, lighting and sound for it will come later. Experience of touring and driving vans preferable.

Dates - 23rd September to 7th October 2019. 2 weeks at £500 per week plus per diems when away and accommodation provided.

JOB: Senior Theatre Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Theatre Technician to join our Technical Team.

Working with academic colleagues in the Department of Stage and Screen at Sheffield Hallam University you will develop the appropriate processes and procedures to allow the development of a structured programme of performances to run throughout the year. These will be varied and range from student assessed productions, larger University events and those put on by visiting companies.

You will provide professional technical support for the setup and running of productions and events, manage and maintain performance technical equipment and also provide appropriate production support. You will be a multi-skilled technician with experience in some or all of the areas of lighting, sound, audio visual and stage management.

Grade 6 - £27,025 to £33,199 per annum, dependent on experience (fixed term until 31/07/20)

This is an all female production and as such requires someone who identifies as female.

Dates are 2nd September to 5th October 2019. This includes 2 weeks rehearsal and ending in Jackson's Lane Theatre in London.

This is a technical show and tours a self contained lighting rig and uses captions which are run via Qlab.

Both positions will be working under the direction of the Production Manager and they will preferably be a driver and have touring experience.

Equity ITC contract. Payment will be just over equity minimum as well as per diems and accommodation on tour

This is for an English tour.

Dates are 25th Feb – 12th May 2019 inclusive With a 2 week break in the middle.

This is a technical show and tours a self contained lighting rig and uses captions which are run via Qlab.

The tech ASM will be working under the direction of the Production Manager and Stage Manager on tour. They will preferable be a driver and have touring experience in Wales.

Equity ITC contract. Payment will be just over equity minimum as well as per diems and accommodation on tour

This is for a Welsh tour.
