I am a Manchester-based writer, performer and educator. Specialising in spoken word, theatre and music.
A little more about me:
I write and perform poetry and theatre pieces around the UK and overseas, and also deliver workshops on spoken word, drama, creative writing and beat-boxing.
I make solo work and also collaborate with various other artists. I have been part of a spoken word/hip hop/theatre collective called Pen-ultimate, touring a show about high-stakes gangster Scrabble called A Night On The Tiles, and am currently working with a band/performance company called Geddes Loom (see below).
Projects I’m working on:
Anthropoetry - a humorous, musical, spoken word journey around the human body.
Geddes Loom - a band/performance company featuring singing/songwriting, electronic music, cello, beatbox, spoken word and story-telling
Goat's Song - A modern-day opera about a boy who finds he has the secret power to take the blame for others' wrongs.
