What I do:
After completing my degree in performance management at Leeds University Bretton Hall, I worked with various theatre companies gained a wealth of experience in theatres regionally and national between 1993 and 1999 whiles taking the role of Stage Manager or Production Manager for several semi professional productions.
In 1998 I also worked alongside staff in Carmarthen County Council to prepare an initial presentation bid to the National Lottery to create an interactive theatre production, which would tour Wales to highlight awareness of recycling in the community for schools.
More recently I was in the Entertainment Leisure and Service Industry for 9 years working up to and including the position of Unit General Manager for the Luminar Group.
Currently I am working in Swansea Metropolitan University as Townhill Theatre’s venue administrator. Over the last nine months I have helped develop the theatre as a professionally recognised venue within the local community. This has enabled the theatre to grow from strength to strength.
Last year I also was presented with the most promising actress award at Swansea Film Life festival for a role in the short play Chain Mail
