All of which I LOVED, but not as much as theatre. So back I came, moved to Cardiff and started trying to make my way here.

13-14 March (these 2 dates could be negotiated) then 18-30 March (we definitely need someone to cover this) then 2-7 April then 10-12…

Hiya Beth,

I am the promoter for 'In water Im weightless'. I noticed that you have lots of experience working with disabled arts and was wondering if maybe we could meet for a chat over coffee about the show; and promoting to as wide an audience as possible.

I work in Cardiff on a Tuesday and Wednesday so can meet after lunch any off these days..

Best Wishes Rhiannon

Hi Beth

Thanks so much for your message, apologies it has taken me a while to pin down which performance I am able to make! Please can I get 2 tickets for the Saturday 7pm performance for tomorrow? Please can you let me know that this is okay? Thanks so much, I'm really looking forward to it. Hope to catch you at the performance tomorrow. x

Hi Beth, thanks for your message, I have heard a bit about your relationship with National Trust through Elise and have seen the flyer for A Midsummer Night's Dream - have you blogged about that show on this network yet? I can see from some young actors' blogs that they are interested in open air theatre, so you may have some lovely followers there! In terms of 'pitching' an idea to National Theatre Wales, I think John has already replied to you on the 'What Shows & Where' Forum discussion, but just to say that what you mentioned does sound like a lovely idea. We haven't closed our pool for the 12 plays in 12 months but we only have a short time left to decide what we are definitely going to programme. NTW's starting point has been that we don't want proposals for ideas for exisiting shows, or shows you may already have in your head. We want to meet and talk to artists in the first instance; we would only develop work with an artist or company whose work we have seen. We then want to develop work with artists who, to use John's words 'dare to dream': this means artists who are willing to try and develop something different from what they usually do, something that both they and we might not expect to see happening, something that they may have thought they weren't capable of doing... put AMSND on this network and have a thought about what you would specifically want from a relationship with NTW and let's talk! Hope this helps! x

Hi Beth, thanks for all your thoughts about inclusivity/how NTW can engage with diverse performers and audiences/getting involved with NTW through your own company. Please keep them coming. Your up and coming tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream looks great & I need to double check on which date I am able to come and see it. Good luck with it - maybe you could blog about the process, especially in relation to engaging with a diverse group of practitoners? x PS what did you have in mind behind the 'submitting ideas to NTW' question?
