Creative Theatrical Feasts and Political interactive campaigning
A little more about me:
Among other things, I am narrative based printed textile designer. I aim to tell stories and mythologies through printed fabrics. I am committed to designing and delivering positive social and environmental change. By this I mean practicing living in a way that is resourceful, low impact and fun.
Ever evolving, I am committed to three key themes; land based mythology, site specific installation and participatory art / relational aesthetics. I explore these key ideas through the mediums of printed textile design and the curation of participatory food events.
I am interested in a transferable creativity; one where basic principles are applied to many frameworks, briefs and moments. I deliberately work creatively in a range of areas, while also weaving myself into certain disciplines of practice for the long run. My philosophy is one of attempting to facilitate a seamless connection of all aspects of life. And so my work is inevitably a confluence of ever changing influences, ideas and expressions. I am essentially a non reductionist, and seek to join the dots rather than isolate them.
