What I do:
retired headteacher St Cuthberts Butetown. Qualifed Life Coach (2002)
A little more about me:
I changed my name 10 years ago. Formerly K.M.Lodge. Kyle Legall (artist in residence 2013 NTW) was a pupil at St Cuthberts school when I was Head there. I remember him as a talented artist even then at age 10 or 11.
I am now a freelance facilitator, trainer and life coach.

Projects I’m working on:
Took part in Schools project with Butetown History and Arts Centre (BHAC) Also developed a self management for mental health programme with MHF incorporating creative writing/journaling as a strategy for improving mental health.
In 2009 I spent 6 months in China as an education adviser, with VSO.
One on one Life coaching private clients/groups, including artists and writers. Previous clients include Kitty Sewell author (The Ice Trap) and sculptor. Always open to new projects/ideas.

Part of the community Chorus of singers in Patrick Jones' play Before I Leave at the Sherman ( May/June 2016). See my blogs about the experience.

Before I Leave .. I'd just like to say -

thanks for the memories!!

Now that our time in the Chorus for Patrick Jones' brilliant production is ended, one or two of us (you know who you are) are undoubtedly missing the 'roar of the grease paint, the smell of the crowd'. Yes, I know that's a misquote. I'm just lapsing for a nostalgic moment there into my former role as a ditzy older lady in an oversized green jumper ..

Before I Leave - tomorrow night is our first Preview Night ...!

It seems to have come around so quickly but now, after many weeks of rehearsal we, the singers in the Chorus of Patrick Jones's new play, are about to make our stage debut in front of an audience at the Sherman.

It's exciting, even though the actual stage part of our performance is relatively minimal, because the songs are great, and being part of a team of singers, building towards a show, has a momentum that has to be experienced to be appreciated. We really are all in this…

As I write it's Tuesday lunchtime, April 26th, and news has just broken that the long-awaited verdict, in the inquiry into what has become known as the Hillsborough Disaster, has finally been reached.
