Profile Information

What I do:
I am a theatre director and community arts practitioner working in South Wales.
A little more about me:
I am passionate about youth arts and making work tailored for specific audiences. I have recently been touring with Oily Cart on 'Splish Splash', their multi sensory, hydrotherapy pool show and am keen to explore making more of this kind of work. I have recently become the Youth Liaison and Engagement coordinator for RawFfest 2019; a bold and exciting youth arts festival that will take place at WMC in April next year. I direct for Caerphilly Youth Theatre and I am responsible for coordinating activities across the county and our new focus on satellite projects that will engage a broader range of young people. I have recently founded Theatr Penwmbra, a new company with a core focus on engaging communities with telling their own stories in collaboration with professional performers and making work with and for marginalised audiences. I am a Creative Agent and Practitioner with ACW's Lead Creative Schools scheme and a Stage Director with the Shakespeare Schools Festival.
Location:
Cardiff & South Wales
Projects I’m working on:
RawFfest 2019 a youth arts festival by young people for young people!
NTW and Oily Cart's multi-sensory show Splish Splash!
